Davison Army Air Field (KDAA),
US Army Virtual Training Base V1.0

For the US Virtual Army, A Military Virtual Airline
www.usarmyvirtual.org
Come check us out, we're taking pilot and staff applications now!

This package contains a fictional representation of Davison Army Air Field, Alabama, a small auxillary airfield used by Ft Belvior, Virgina, near Washington, D.C. The airfield has hangars, fuel pits, vehicles, water, radar, and radio towers, administration and living quarters. There is a snack bar with picnic tables near the tower to grab a bite, and a couple of jet training aircraft stopping off for on a cross country flight. Watch out for construction on the field as well as wildlife.

Thomas Gambale has my expressed permission to upload this package in its entirety, including this document, to any freeware web site he choses for the purposes of supporting the US Army Virtual VA. It must still remain freeware and no part of this package may be used for any commercial purpose. This is my gift to the US Army Virtual; good luck, guys, from a Jarhead (75-79, MCAS Cherry Point SAR Swimmer, CH-46A Pedro).

Scenery files created using Groundmaker by Vincent Koch.
My macros made using EOD v2 by Matthias Bruckner. If you want one of them ask.
Tested in MSFS2002 only with terrain mesh (http://www.simviation.com/fsdterrainusa1.htm if you need mesh).

This readme includes the disclaimer and credits, package description, and installation instructions. This scenery set uses some NOVA textures, a separate download if you don't already have them.

Package Description:
This package contains fictional scenery for Davison Army Air Field near Ft Belvior, Va (I've never seen it). Davison AAF has several start locations which can be found in the Go To Airport menu, use the Add On Scenery button at the bottom of the window. This field is used by the US Army Virtual.

This package replaces the entire airport and runways, and adds taxiways, wind socks, hangars, vehicles, a tower, antennas, snack bar with picnic area, radar, water tower, fuel trucks, fuel pits, and support buildings. If you're thirsty, there are a couple of soda machines near the tower.

Watch out for construction on the field and wildlife nearby.
